ADF&G SEEKS LONGLINE-CRAB-POT VESSEL FOR CHARTER
The Alaska Department of Fish and Game will be chartering a large longline-crab-pot vessel to
conduct golden king crab research activities in the Aleutian Islands (Registration Area ‘O’)
during the summer of 2012. The Aleutian Islands golden king crab charter will take place
between approximately July 1 and August 6, 2012 and will require a longline crab-pot vessel
115’ or greater in overall length. The charter will begin and end in Dutch Harbor, Alaska.
